Who we are
This website is operated by Value Meets Innovation Ltd (The Gateway), the data controller for the personal data described here. The site is built and hosted by Hello Maiko Ltd, which processes data on our behalf. Contact: giulia.rancati@vmiltd.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Register-interest form: name, work email, company, role, country, company size, programmes of interest, your main challenge and preferred language. We use this to review your request, contact you about programmes and invite you to a discovery conversation (legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- Members area (when it opens): email address, login codes and session data needed to give you access to cohorts, agendas and Circles (legal basis: performance of a contract).
- Abuse prevention: a keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself) is stored with form submissions and used for rate limiting.
- Emails we send: we keep a log of which emails were sent to which address and whether delivery succeeded, so we can fix delivery problems.
- Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. See the cookie policy.
How long we keep data
Interest registrations are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, or until you ask us to delete them. Member records are kept for the duration of your participation and for 6 years afterwards for accounting purposes. Email logs are kept for 12 months.
Who we share data with
Our hosting and email providers (in the UK and EU), and, for members, the other participants of your cohort or Circle (name, role, company and country only). We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent by writing to giulia.rancati@vmiltd.co.uk. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
